KlassicKolors examplesKlassicKolors has a PVDF coating on top of our ZT alloy coated carbon steel. There are 10 colours including stainless and copper patina.

The high performance coating (Valspar's 70% Kynar 500) has a 20 year appearance warranty. It will not flake, peel or crack even after forming of the standing seam. It has enhanced solar reflectance and emittance properties designed to help reduce a building's energy costs.

Because KlassicKolors is pre-painted it eliminates the labour cost and lack of quality control associated with painting on site.

Applications

Like TCS, KlassicKolors has exceptional strength, durability and malleability making it suitable for the same applications as TCS. It also has the following additional applications:

  • The KlassicKolors range of colours can be used to achieve a dramatic and beautiful roof or cladding.
  • The solar reflective coating will help reduce a building's energy costs.
  • KlassicKolors are particularly useful where planning authorities and architects wish to retain the appearance of a traditional copper or zinc roof but do not have the budget. KlassicKolors are substantially cheaper.

The Patina colour was chosen as it was a close match to the naturally patinated copper on the older building and could be afforded within the budget.
